I attended New York University to earn my degree in education. I am a strong French, Latin, and Spanish instructor. I spent a year abroad, teaching English to French-speaking high school students. While enrolled at NYU, I served as a teacher's assistant at two public schools, helping development lesson plans for various language classes. During my high school summers, I volunteered as a camp counselor, focusing on emotional and personal development and growth. I spent a season working with Citizen Schools to tutor at disadvantaged public schools in NYC. My experiences have prepared me to educate students of all backgrounds. I am devoted to preparing each student for academic success. Learning additional languages is an invaluable skill that is useful in personal and professional life. I believe that knowing more than one language opens doors that otherwise would remain closed. Throughout each tutoring session, I encourage questions from my students to prevent learning gaps. I work my student's natural learning rate to ensure they master each concept, from basic to advanced. In my free time, I love to play the guitar and listen to music. I ride my bike and go running to keep in shape. I enjoy learning on my own as well.
